For the past three years, I've worked at the communications agency Wera in Porsgrunn, Telemark, where I started as a digital designer and later developed into a front-end developer. My working days vary from editing books and magazines to designing and developing websites. I mainly use Elementor in WordPress and do a fair amount of coding in PHP to create customized solutions for my customers.
Through previous studies at NTNU in Gjøvik, I completed a bachelor's degree that resulted in a portfolio of 180 pages (printed and bound) with ten selected projects from my student years. This website is my digital platform for my portfolio, my hobby as a photographer, and future projects.
My studies gave me solid expertise in print and digital media, with a strong theoretical background in basic design principles such as typography, composition and structure. I also have good experience in information design, focusing on information graphics, information architecture and user-centered design methods.
I have worked extensively with interaction design and web design, and therefore have broad experience with prototyping, user testing, and UX design. When it comes to front-end development, I'm fluent in HTML and CSS, as well as familiar with basic SEO and JavaScript. I master most design-related applications from Adobe CC at a high level, and I have five years of experience as a hobby photographer.
