Idea and concept
In this project, I chose to design a new concept for Toro's product packaging. The food manufacturer has been producing products for Norwegians for over 70 years, regardless of gender, age and background. In this project, I therefore wanted to take this into account and thus had a very large target group to work with.
I mainly had to take into account people with disabilities, such as the visually impaired, color blind and people with reading and writing difficulties. Initially, I wanted to use photographs on the surfaces, but during the process I abandoned this idea and chose to use illustrations to communicate the content of the packaging instead.
The biggest challenge with this project was to design a similar style on surfaces of different sizes and formats.
